It was Black Divinity, Koopa King, and King Bungee at Motaku 2010. None of us are Anime critics, and we had no idea what we were doing honestly. We did it just for fun.

We had to take some time off because of family and work issues, but we're back and better than ever. But you know what time off means, right?

That's right, for the next couple of weeks, this site will be experiencing rolling updates. We will have a lot of them, so keep tuned.

As we bid blogger farewell, we would like to tell you all that currently all video reviews are disabled. And they are disabled because we are moving!

Support for and updating of the blog will continue till the new site is fully established, so don't worry too much.

But that's right, soon we will be in charge of our own website.

Right now there is just blank pages, but check back later this week for a cool video promoting our new site.

Silent Evil Reviews is growing exponentially as we speak. We are finding that more and more work needs to be completed and we can't run this by ourselves. As this is the case, we are looking for help.

The following are job openings here at Silent Evil Reviews:

Editor: We need somebody to check these reviews for errors. You'll get to clean copy and become a grammar wiz.

Web Designer: We need somebody to help me design this site. You'll get to look at all the templates I have made, and make some of your own. This will be even more important when we get web space later.

Technology Critic: The fact is, we aren't as multi-talented as we'd like. While we dabble in all things critic wise, there are some things we just can't get to. One of those things is technology. You'd be commenting on web-related things you find. You'll also be informing on new techie gear that comes out and telling people just what's worth their money.

Theater Critic: Retro and I love movies. We love all sorts of movies. But we just aren't stage related people. Although we both love the theater immensely, we just don't see ourselves critiquing it. You'd be at the fronts telling about all the plays or musicals you want to.

Art and Anime Critic: Although Stuntman is a great critic, he does find himself busy from time to time. To help this, we really want to balance him out with another person. If you love art, anime, cartoons, and the like, sign up and join the team.

Literature Critic: Vega Boralis really is a wonderful critic. His command of the English language really is unparalleled. However, he is married and works full-time. So, we are hoping for another person with a love for literature to help him out.

Music Critic: Love to listen? Love tapping your feet to that one amazing song? Well come on down and join King Bungee on his quest to find that perfect song.

Food Critic: If you love to eat and want to tell the world, please join the team. Chaos VII and you can join forces to make that one meal that just might be to die for.

If you want to cover something, and think we might need it, just let us know and we might be able to work something out.

The thing we should tell you is, we aren't getting paid right now. If you join the team right now, you do so to get the experiences. And maybe soon we might get a deal for this.

Main Banner Update

Hey, Megaboy here. I'm just posting to call attention to the new main banner for our blog. What better way to kick off the new year than with some site remodeling?

The illustration itself was done by Stuntman - a new artist in training. I took the original copy and worked on the color and effects. I think it's best to keep the illustrations and effects more simplified for the time being.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the new banner. Stay tuned for more updates in the next few days, including personal banners for each of the staff members! A new logo is also in the works.

Background Change

Seasons Greetings everybody!

As the holiday season draws near, so does the expectations of the New Year. As the resident head reviewer, I feel it's time to sit down, and just lay out the plan for everyone who possibly visits the site.

When we started this simple little idea about 5 years ago, we never expected to continue to do, or even to try to get people to look at it. It basically was just to occupy our bored moments. Now, 8 members and countless supporters in our lives later, we've built something that we're all proud of, something that means a lot to us all. It's with that idea in mind that I wanted to take the time to say, in honor of Thanksgiving which recently just past, thank you.

Thank you to all the fans, to all our families, to each member of our team for helping to make this little idea grow into what it is today. Silent Evil is here to stay everybody, so don't you worry about that.

Now onto business:
You may have all noticed the wonderful new background that is in place on our main page. Thanks to Stuntman and the newly titled Megaboy, this holiday greeting if for you all to view when coming to visit it.

Retroman has officially changed his name to Megaboy due to fit his new persona, and as such, will now be referred to as Megaboy for all intents and purposes.

Likewise, due to some interesting circumstances, Chaos VII has changed his subject. Soon, he will be telling you all about food and sandwiches, letting you fill your belly while you entertain yourself. And maybe even a link or two, if he feels like it.

This month's round of updates is coming soon, as well as some labor time coming quick. This month, in addition to regular reviews, our staff will be working hard to pump out some "holiday" themed reviews. Stay tuned for that.

The Grammys are a' coming folks! As such, King Bungee will review a number of categories of nominees as we countdown to one of the most prestigious awards shows of the music industry. So, stay tuned for that.

Everyone please wish both Vega Boralis and Stuntman a belated Happy Birthday during the month of November.

And, on a lesser note, we are still thinking about adding members. If you would like to join the Silent Evil staff, please email us at silentevil0607@gmail.com.

By the end of this year, we will have all new banners created and installed for your viewing pleasure.

And soon, we will have a place available where you will be able to buy Silent Evil t-shirts, mugs, and other merchandise all from the source. So if you like our quirky demon, just wait till he comes home with you.
